NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Rosetta Mae Perras, 62, of 103 Main St. died Saturday, July 10, 2010, at home.
Born in North Adams on May 29, 1948, a daughter of James Nichlen and Elaine Benoit Nichlen Angeli, and stepdaughter of Louis P. Angeli, she attended schools in North Adams. She lived in Oregon for a time before returning to the city.
A homemaker, Mrs. Perras was a devoted mother and grandmother.
She enjoyed bowling, playing bingo and crocheting. While a resident of Oregon, she was a member of the Ladies' Auxiliary of the local Veterans for Foreign Wars.
She leaves her companion, Robert Mason; three daughters, Rosetta Sherman and her husband, John, and Tammy Angeli Blair and her companion, Craig Morris, all of North Adams, and Lisa Angeli; a brother, James Nichlen of North Adams; two sisters, Albina Affhauser of North Adams and Deborah Nichlen, and six grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her son, Frankie Allen, and her brother Frederick Nichlen.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Funeral services for Mrs. Perraswill take place Wednesday, July 14, at 6 at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams. Burial will take place on Friday, July 16, at 1 p.m. in Southview Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Wednesday from 3 to 6 at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made through the funeral home.
