NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Joseph L. Marcil, 47, of Meade Avenue died Thursday, Jan. 14, 2010, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield after a short illness.
Born in North Adams, he was the son of Raymond G. and Dorothy Rose Jarvis Marcil and attended local schools.
Mr. Marcil had last been employed by George Apkin & Sons.
He leaves his wife, Wendy Marcil; two sons, Derek Marcil and Bryan Marcil, both of North Adams; two daughters, Kaylee Marcil and Shalee Marcil, both of North Adams; two sisters, Paula Boucher and her husband, Gary, and Nancy Pizani, all of North Adams; two grandsons, Jayse Ellsworth and Anthony Bunt, three nieces, a nephew, a great-niece and a great-nephew.
FUNERAL NOTICE — There will be no calling hours or services for Mr. Marcil. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, MA 01247.
