NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Mary Belle Lewis, 71, of 281 Notch Road died Saturday, May 30, 2009, at North Adams Regional Hospital.
Born in Adams on May 6, 1938, daughter of Harold A. and Marjorie Bosley Lewis, she attended Adams schools and graduated from the former Adams Memorial High School in 1956.
Miss Lewis worked at the former Sprague Electric Co. for more than 30 years until her retirement.
She was a member of the Greylock Community Club and a former member of First Baptist Church in Adams.
She leaves two sisters, Geraldine Lewis of North Adams, with whom she made her home, and Betty Jane Ragsdale of Pittsfield, a brother, Clifford Lewis of Cincinnati, and nieces and nephews.
FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Miss Lewis will be Wednesday, June 3, at 1 at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Wednesday from noon to 1.
