Columbia Teresa Dassatti, 84, of 82 Furnace St. died Tuesday at North Adams Regional Hospital, where she had been admitted Monday.
Born in Readsboro, Vt., on Feb. 27, 1917, daughter of Emilio Eduardo Dassatti and Maria Louisa Penner Dassatti, she moved to North Adams in 1922 and attended North Adams schools, including Drury High School.
Miss Dassatti was employed as a clinical aide at North Adams Regional Hospital until her retirement in 1982.
She was a communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Church.
She leaves a sister-in-law, Mary Maroni Dassatti of North Adams, who was her caregiver; a niece, and four nephews, including Richard T. Dassatti of North Adams.
Funeral is Saturday at 8:15 a.m. at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams. Funeral Mass at 9 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church. Burial in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to any charity of the donor's choice in care of the funeral home. Four brothers and one sister are deceased: Reno Dassatti, who died Jan. 24, 1979, Guido A. "Guy" Dassatti, who died April 7, 1986, Erminio Dassatti, who died April 2, 1997, Elvina Dassatti, who died April 21, 2000, and Guido Dassatti, who died in infancy.
