NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — John Michael Shartrand, 45, of Pompano Beach, Fla., formerly of North Adams, died in Florida on Saturday, Jan. 29, 2005.

Born in North Adams, he was the son of Edward M. Shartrand Jr. and the late Frances Cerminara Shartrand.

Besides his father, he leaves his wife, Christine Shartrand; two daughters, Erika Shartrand and Hannah Shartrand; two brothers, Edward M. Shartrand III and his wife, Nancy, of North Adams and Paul Shartrand and his wife, Sandy, of Deerfield Beach, and nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL NOTICE — A memorial service celebrating Mr. Shartrand's life will be held Tuesday, Feb. 1, 3:30 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church of Pompano Beach, 2331 NE 26th Ave.
