NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Lorraine White, 80, of formerly of 1547 Massachusetts Ave. died Monday, Dec. 1, 2008, at Williamstown Commons, where she had resided for eight years.
Born in North Adams on Sept. 26, 1928, daughter of Samuel and Eva Seney Dickinson, she attended schools in North Adams, including the former St. Joseph's Grammar and High schools.
Mrs. White was employed at the former Woolworth Department Store, Hunter Outdoor Products and Xtyal Corp., all in North Adams.
She leaves a daughter, Linda White Burke and her husband, Richard, of Adams; two brothers, Hugh Dickinson and his wife, Patricia, of Williamstown and Donald Dickinson of Adams.
She was predeceased by another brother and a sister, Ronald Dickinson and Janet Dickinson.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Funeral services for Mrs. White will take Friday morning at 11 from Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday from 10 until the time of the service.
