NORTH ADAMS - Shawn A. Waterhouse, 44, of 457 West Main St., died Monday, Feb. 18, 2008, at home surrounded by family and friends.
Born in North Adams on March 21, 1963, son of Dolores M. Pedercini Waterhouse and the late William John Waterhouse Sr., he attended schools in North Adams and graduated from Drury High School in 1981. He also attended DeVry University in Arizona, where he studied computer programming.
Mr. Waterhouse was employed by GEM Environmental Inc. in North Adams. At the time of his death, he was the owner and operator of Vision Contracting in North Adams.
He was a communicant of St. Anthony's Church in North Adams. He enjoyed NASCAR.
Besides his mother, of North Adams, he leaves a son, Dylan Waterhouse of North Adams; a sister, Terry Hartman and her husband, Mark, of North Adams; a brother, William J. Waterhouse Jr. of Adams; three nieces, Ashley Falco, Samantha Hartman and Lynda LeFaver; a nephew, William Waterhouse III; two grandnephews, Matthew Smith and Timothy LeFaver; a grandniece, Celia Falco, and aunts and uncles.
FUNERAL NOTICE - Funeral services for Shawn A. Waterhouse will take place Thursday at 6 p.m. from FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, West Chapels, 521 West Main St. North Adams. Burial will take place in the spring.
Calling hours at the funeral home are today from 3 to 6 p.m. Memorial donations are suggested for the Northern Berkshire YMCA or to VNA & Hospice of Northern Berkshire.
