NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Susan L. "Sue Ann" Geib, 53, of 386 Houghton St. died Friday, Sept. 7, 2007, at North Adams Commons.
Born in Caribou, Maine, on Nov. 11, 1953, daughter of Marilyn Rheaume Perry of Ware and the late Arthur Frank Perry, she attended schools in Arkansas and earned a degree in nursing in Batesville, Ark.
Mrs. Geib was employed as a nurse in Arkansas and in Berkshire County, retiring in 1994.
She was a member of Cheshire Baptist Church. She loved life and animals and was deeply committed to her family and friends.
She and her husband, Richard V. Geib of North Adams, were married Jan. 14, 2005, in Pownal, Vt.
Besides her husband and mother, she leaves a son, Luke Grigsby of Fayetteville, Ark.; a brother, Christopher Perry of Little Rock, Ark.; and two sisters, Donna Lee Honeywell of Ware and Lisa Rosenthal of Chesterfield; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Greenlaw and Theresa Phaneuf and her husband, Robert Phaneuf.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Graveside services for Mrs. Geib will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Southview Cemetery, North Adams, by the Rev. Richard Newton.
Calling hours will be Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at FLYNN & DAGNOLI HOME FOR FUNERALS, CENTRAL CHAPEL, 74 Marshall St., North Adams. Memorial donations are suggested for the American Cancer Research Association through the funeral home.
