Harriet Michaels, 94, of 22 Willowford Road, South Dennis, died Wednesday at Epoch Nursing Home in Brewster.
Born in North Adams on Feb. 14, 1912, daughter of Frank and Harriet Williams Hermon, she attended schools there, including Drury High School.
Mrs. Michaels was last employed by the Dorothy Ruth Cosmetics Store in Bedford. She was also employed for many years by the former Sprague Electric Co.
She was a former member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Chapel in the Blackinton section of North Adams.
She was the widow of James Harry Michaels, who died July 14, 1961.
She leaves two daughters, Lois Chenail of South Dennis and Sandra Zdon of Dalton; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A private funeral for Harriet Michaels, who died Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2006, will be conducted at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St., North Adams.
Burial will follow in the family lot in Southview Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to Epoch Nursing Home in care of the funeral home.
She also leaves a son-in-law, Joseph, and six grandchildren, Elise Nicholson, James Chenail and Steven, Allan, Glen and David Zdon.
