Valmore F. Charron, 68, of Apartment 1, 42 Meadow St., North Adams, died Wednesday Aug. 9, 2006, at his home.
He was born in North Adams, on Aug. 20, 1937, a son of Francis Charron and Rose (Thibert) Charron. He attended schools in North Adams, including the former Notre Dame School.
He was employed at the former James Hunter Machine Co. in North Adams. He also was employed at St. Joseph’s Court in North Adams. At the time of his death he was employed by the Community Development Corp. as a custodian at the Windsor Mill in North Adams.
He was a communicant of Notre Dame du Sacre Couer Church in North Adams.
Survivors include a brother, Lawrence Charron, and his wife, Louise, of Adams; two nieces, Pam Niarchos and Julie Groen and a nephew, James Charron; several grandnieces and grandnephews and longtime caregiver Steven Casuscelli, with whom he made his home.
FUNERAL -- Services for Valmore F. Charron will take place Friday at 11 a.m. at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams.
Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery, North Adams. Calling Hours at the funeral home are Friday from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations are suggested to BFAIR through the funeral home.
