Linda Marie Trala-Dunn, 58, of 1100 Mohawk Trail died early yesterday morning at the North Adams Regional Hospital.
Born in Springfield on Jan. 25, 1948, daughter of the late Walter and Mary Benincasa Gruszecki, she attended schools in Springfield and graduated from the Canton Hospital School in Canton.
Linda was employed by Ad-Lib in Pittsfield as a peer counselor. She also worked for the City of North Adams Handicapped Commission.
She was a communicant of St. Anthony's Church.
She was a member of the Sweet Adelines in Williamstown and Pittsfield.
She leaves her longtime companion, Thomas F. Dunn of North Adams, with whom she made her home; two sons, Stephen M. Trala of Colchester, Vt., and Stanley S. Trala of Lebanon, N.Y., and three grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Linda Trala-Dunn, who died Tuesday, May 16, 2006, are private. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the North Adams Ambulance Service in care of FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS CENTRAL CHAPELS, 74 Marshall St. North Adams, MA 01247, which is in charge of arrangements.
She leaves three grandchildren, Tia Nicole, Brace and Aspen Trala.
