Barbara E. Vanderburgh, 67, of 109 Sullivan St. died Thursday at North Adams Commons.
Born in North Adams on Jan. 21, 1939, daughter of the late G. Peter and Leona Porter Anderson, she attended schools there.
Mrs. Vanderburgh was a homemaker.
She enjoyed shopping, arts and crafts, and playing bingo.
Her husband, Robert Vanderburgh, is deceased.
She leaves two daughters, Faith Anderson of Springfield and April Vanderburgh of Adams; a son, Dwayne Anderson of Lanesborough; two sisters, Marion A. Powell of University City, Pa., and Susan A. Sleets of Laverock, Pa.; a brother, George P. Anderson of Lanesborough, and five grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Barbara E. Vanderburgh will be Tuesday, March 7, 2006, at 1 from FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, WEST CHAPEL, 521 West Main St., North Adams, with the Rev. Peter A. Gregory, pastor of St. Charles' Church in Pittsfield, officiating. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be from 11 to 1.
Memorial donations are suggested for the United Negro College Fund through the funeral home. She was a dedicated grandmother and enjoyed giving to others.
