Elizabeth Barcomb, 76, of 227 Franklin St. died Thursday at home.
Born in Westfield on March 17, 1928, daughter of Charles and Martha Murphy Anderson, she attended schools in Chester.
She then moved with her family to Berkshire County, where she attended schools in North Adams. She was a 1946 graduate of Drury High School.
Mrs. Barcomb was last employed by GE in Pittsfield for 20 years, retiring in 1989. She had also worked at the former Sprague Electric Co. in North Adams for 18 years.
Her husband, Joseph Robert "Bunny" Barcomb, whom she married Dec. 21,1946, died March 31, 1997.
She leaves a daughter, Gail Louise Martin of North Adams; two sisters, Carol Begin of North Adams and Margaret Dickinson of Deland, Fla.; a brother, John Anderson of Adams, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Michelle Diane Renzi, who died July 17,1976.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Elizabeth (Anderson) Barcomb will take place Monday at 11 at the FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME for FUNERALS, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St. North Adams.
Burial will follow in the family plot in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Monday from 10 to 11. Memorial donations are suggested for the charity of the donor's choice through the funeral home.
Survivors include her son-in-law, Michael Martin.
