Lillian Delia Fulginiti, 82, formerly of 131 State St., died Thursday at Springside of Pittsfield after a long illness.
Born in North Adams on Jan. 21, 1922, daughter of Giuseppe and Adele DelDebbio Mezzanotte, she was a 1941 graduate of Drury High School.
Mrs. Fulginiti was employed by New England Telephone Co. and later worked at the former Sprague Electric Co. for many years.
She was a lifelong communicant of St. Anthony's Church and a volunteer for its bazaar committee.
She was a member and past treasurer of North Adams Lodge 704 Sons of Italy, and a member of the Sprague Retirees and Italian Girls clubs.
Her husband, Augustine Fulginiti, died May 22, 1964.
She leaves a stepson, Joseph Fulginiti of North Adams, and her caregivers, Christine Howard of North Adams and Gisele McRae of Milton, Vt.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Lillian Fulginiti will be Monday, Oct. 25, at 8:15 at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, CENTRAL CHAPELS, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9 at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 68 Marshall St., celebrated by the Rev. Daniel J. O'Hear, pastor.
Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery, North Adams. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Sunday, Oct. 24, 2004, from 4 to 7. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory are suggested for the Activities Fund of Springside of Pittsfield, in care of the funeral home.
She was predeceased by three sisters, Rose and Jennie Mezzanotte and Yolanda Puppolo, and two brothers, Hugo and Rodolfo Mezzanotte.
