Jacqueline Mary Gyurasz, 44, of 200 Quail Forest Blvd., Naples, Fla., formerly of North Adams, died Saturday at home.
Born in North Adams on April 5, 1960, daughter of Edward W. and Eileen E. Burke Gyurasz, she graduated from Drury High School in 1978.
She moved to Naples nine years ago.
She served in the Air Force from 1981 to 1987.
Ms. Gyurasz was employed as an office manager at Future Aviations Inc. in Fort Myers, Fla.
She had been a communicant of St. Francis' Church and enjoyed bicycling and snow shoeing.
She leaves a son, Michael A. Pena of San Antonio; a brother, Kurt B. Gyurasz of North Adams; a sister, Kathryn A. McCarthy of North Adams; a stepbrother, Walter Timoney of Adams, and her stepmother, Nancy Gyurasz of Naples.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Ms. Gyurasz, who died Aug. 7, 2004, will be Thursday, Aug. 12, at 9 from AUGE-PACIOREK-SIMMONS FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 in St. Stanislaus' Church in Adams by the Rev. Daniel J. Boyle, pastor of St. Stanislaus' and the Parish of Notre Dame-St. Thomas.
Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery, North Adams. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Wednesday from 4 to 7. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in her memory be made to VNA & Hospice of Northern Berkshire Inc., in care of the funeral home.
A sister, Pattie Marie Gyurasz, died in infancy and a brother, Edward J. Gyurasz of Adams, died the same day, Aug. 7, 2004.
she was my aunt i miss her very much!! she was aot of fun even though i didnt see her a lot. same thing with her brother my uncle edward!!
