Patrick Eugene Jacques, 65, of 150 Ashland St. died Tuesday morning at home.
Born in Westfield on June 2, 1939, son of LeRoy F. Jacques Sr. and Lillian Londergan Jacques, he was a 1957 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
He had resided in North Adams for 20 years.
A Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, he served as a jet mechanic aboard the USS Kittyhawk from 1958 to 1965.
A mechanic at shops and dealerships throughout Berkshire County, Mr. Jacques last worked at the former Kmart in North Adams, retiring in 1990 because of ill health.
At one time, he worked in the warehouse at KB Toys.
He leaves a brother, LeRoy F. Jacques Jr. of Adams.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A graveside service for Patrick Eugene Jacques, 65, who died Tuesday, Aug. 3, will be Monday, Aug. 9, at 10:30 at St. Joseph's Cemetery with the Rev. Max V. Kishe officiating. There will be no calling hours.
Mr. Jacques is also survived by two nephews, LeRoy F. Jacques III of Adams and Thomas M. Jacques of Bellingham. The DERY FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.
