Mr. Edward Lawrence Moreau, Sr., 77, of 611 State Road, Holy Family Terrace, North Adams, MA died Friday, March 30,2001 at the Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA.
He was born in North Adams, MA on September 22,1923 a son of the late Edward Moreau and Lena (LaValley) Moreau.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years: Margaret “Peg†(Bombardier) Moreau whom he married February 20,1943 in Notre Dame Church, North Adams,MA. (1) Daughter; Anne Mulcahy of Amherst,MA (3) Sons:Edward L. Moreau-Boca Raton, FL John P. Moreau-Boca Raton,FL & Dennis L. Moreau of the State of California.(6) Grandchildren (1) Brother: Donald Moreau of the state of Florida and (1) Sister: Bernice Marsh of the state of Florida. (1) Daughter: Christine Moreau predeceased him.
Funeral Services will take place Tuesday morning at 9:00 AM at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St., North Adams, MA, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00AM at St. Patrick's Church, Williamstown, MA, with the Rev. William F. Cyr, Pastor of St. Patrick & Raphael's Parish as the celebrant. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery, North Adams, MA. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations are suggested for the charity of the donor's choice through the funeral home.
