Thomas Joseph Morrow, 52, of 102 Locust Court, Pittsburgh, a native of North Adams, died of cancer Sunday evening at home.
Born on Jan. 17, 1951, son of Elaine LeClair Morrow of North Adams and the late Preston Morrow, he was a 1969 graduate of Drury High School, where he was a member of the Pro Merito Honor Society, president of the student council and member of the band for four years.
He also graduated from Northeastern University in 1974 with a bachelor of science degree in engineering.
Mr. Morrow was employed by Westinghouse Corp. and its successor, Voest-Alpene Industries, in Pittsburgh for 29 years.
While in North Adams, he was a communicant of St. Francis’ Church.
Besides his mother, he leaves two sisters, Lisa Germanowski of Northampton and Linda McKeon of Pittsfield.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Thomas Morrow will be Thursday at 8:15 from FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, 521 West Main St., with a Mass at 9 at St. Francis of Assisi Church.
Burial will be in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. Donations may be made to the VNA & Hospice of Northern Berkshire in care of the funeral home.
Survivors include two brothers-in-law, David Germanowski of Northampton and Robert McKeon of Pittsfield, and nieces, nephews and cousins. A brother, Martin Morrow, died in 1988, and another sister, Kathleen Morrow, died in infancy in 1949.
