Marjorie Mae Moran, 78, of 150 Ashland St. died yesterday at North Adams Regional Hospital where she was admitted Jan. 24.
Born in North Adams on Jan. 19, 1925, daughter of Armand and Eva C. Cross Boillat, she attended local schools. She was a lifelong resident of North Adams.
Mrs. Moran was most recently employed for 15 years in the housekeeping department at the former Adams Nursing Home in North Adams, until retiring in 1987. Prior to that she had been employed at the Sprague Electric Co., Wall Streeter Shoe Co. and Florsheim Shoe Co., all in North Adams, and at the Thrifty Bundle Laundry in Adams.
She was a member of the Bethel Pentacostal Church.
She leaves a son, Edward J. Moran of Waterbury, Conn.; two daughters, Sandra Howcroft and Barbara Dellia, both of North Adams; a brother, Kenneth Boillat of the town of Florida; two grandsons and four great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Graveside funeral services will be held in the spring at the family plot in Florida Church Cemetery. Burial will follow. There will be no calling hours. The family requests the omission of flowers and suggests donations in her memory be made to either the Bethel Pentacostal Church or the American Cancer Society, through the AUGE-SAN SOUCIE-SIMMONS FUNERAL HOME, 46 Church St., North Adams, MA 01247, which is in charge of arrangements.
She also leaves two grandsons, Reggie and Jason Howcroft, both of North Adams. She was predeceased by three brothers, Gerald Boillat, Pinky Boillat and Woodrow Boillat, and two sisters, Geraldine Boillat and Constance Amato.
