Jeanette M. Lemoine, 94, of 19 Maple St. died Wednesday at North Adams Regional Hospital.
Born in North Adams on Jan. 12, 1909, daughter of Ludger and Amanda Parenteau Lemoine, she attended the former Notre Dame Elementary and Drury High schools.
Miss Lemoine owned and operated Lemoines Jewelers with her late sister, Clerina M. Lemoine, from 1943 until 1961. She later worked at Drury, McCann Technical School and NARH until her retirement a several years ago.
She was a communicant of Notre Dame Church. She enjoyed playing bridge at the Harper Center in Williamstown and golf.
She leaves many nieces and nephews.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Jeanette M. Lemoine will be conducted Friday at 1 at St. Francis of Assisi Church. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours. The family suggests those who wish may make memorial donations to Notre Dame Church or to a charity of the donor's choice through AUGE-SAN SOUCIE-SIMMONS FUNERAL HOME, 46 North Church St., North Adams, MA 01247, which is in charge of arrangements.
