Cecile Adrienne Little, 91, of St. Joseph's Court died yesterday morning at North Adams Regional Hospital, where she was admitted Saturday after a brief illness.
Born in North Adams on Nov. 22, 1911, daughter of Jean L. and Philomene Beauvais Dubreuil, she graduated from the former Notre Dame School and completed the commercial course at the former Berkshire Bliss College.
In her younger years, she was employed by the former Windsor Print Works. Mrs. Little was a lifelong communicant of Notre Dame Church. Her husband, James A. DeVer Little, whom she married June 30, 1937, died June 11, 1998.
She leaves a son, James D. Little of Clarksburg; two daughters, Suzanne Murray of Hampton, Va., and Marilyn Carmody of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a niece she raised from early childhood, Alice Rivers DiCicco of Pittsfield; 18 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren. A son, Donald Francis Little, died May 2, 1999.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Cecile A. Dubreuil Little will be Wednesday, Jan. 8, at 10 at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, West Chapels, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 at Notre Dame du Sacre Coeur Church, East Main Street, North Adams.
Burial will be in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours will be tomorrow, Jan. 7, from 4 to 8 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested for Notre Dame Church through the funeral home.
Survivors include daughters-in-law, Patricia Ann Luczynski Little and Beverly Andrews Little, both of Williamstown; a niece she raised from early childhood, Alice Rivers DiCicco of Pittsfield, and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a grandson, Richard Murray; sisters Marie Rivers, Agnes Reynolds, Laura Dubreuil and Leona Salkin, and brothers Emile, Adrien and Leo Dubreuil.
