Helen Albini, 85, formerly of 215 Ashland St. and 103 Main St., died yesterday at Williamstown Commons, where she had resided since March 22, 2001.
Born in North Adams on Aug. 17, 1917, daughter of Alexander and Rosa Serra Albini, she was a 1935 graduate of Drury High School and completed many postgraduate courses in law and banking.
Miss Albini was employed by the former First Agricultural Bank as a teller and a loan officer. She retired in 1982 with more than 40 years of service.
She was a lifelong communicant of St. Anthony's Church. She leaves a sister, Mary Albini, with whom she made her home.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Miss Helen Albini will be tomorrow at 9 at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9:30 at St. Anthony of Padua Parish Center, 68 Marshall St., North Adams, celebrated by the Rev. Daniel J. O'Hear, pastor.
Burial will be in Southview Cemetery, North Adams. Calling hours are one hour before the funeral at the funeral home.
Memorial donations are suggested for the St. Anthony's Church Centennial Fund or to a charity of the donor's choice through the funeral home.
