Paul D. Blanchard, 80, of Wallingford, Pa., died Sunday at Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital in Darby, Pa.
Born in North Adams on Jan. 19, 1922, son of Floyd D. and Florence Eldredge Blanchard, he attended local schools. He moved to Wallingford 31 years ago.
A veteran of World War II, he served with the Army Air Corps Signal Corps.
He was employed by GE as a manufacturing engineer for 40 years, retiring in 1981.
He leaves his wife, the former Anne E. Levitzsky.
Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Carleton P. Blanchard of Westchester, Pa., and two grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Paul D. Blanchard will be tomorrow, Oct. 23, at 2 at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., with the Rev. Michael McHugh, rector of St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Adams, officiating. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery in North Adams. There will be no calling hours.
