Mary C. Richardello, 86, of 18 Walnut St. died Monday at North Adams Regional Hospital.
Born in North Adams on Oct. 1, 1915, daughter of Silvio and Louisa Giganti Pieropan, she attended local schools.
She was employed for more than 50 years at Sprague Electric Co. in North Adams.
A longtime communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Church, she was a member of the North Adams Sons of Italy Lodge 710, the Friends of the North Adams Public Library and the Mary Spitzer Senior Center.
Her husband, Nicholas A. Richardello, whom she married Sept. 2, 1940, died Feb. 10, 1988.
She leaves a son, Ronald A. Richardello of Sweetwater, Tenn., two grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
A Liturgy of Christian Burial will take place Friday afternoon at 1 at St. Anthony of Padua Church Parish Center, North Adams, with the Rev. Daniel O'Hear, pastor, as celebrant. Burial will follow in the family plot in Southview Cemetery, North Adams. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations are suggested for the St. Anthony Church's 100th Anniversary Fund or to the Feed the Children Fund, through FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA Home for Funerals, CENTRAL CHAPELS, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, MA 01247.
