NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Jeannette Claire (LaBombard) Brulé, 92 of North Adams, MA died Sunday January 4, 2026 at Berkshire Medical Center.
She was born in North Adams, MA on July 13, 1933, a daughter of Francis J. LaBombard Sr and Bernadette (Amlaw) LaBombard. She graduated from Drury High School in the class of 1951.
Early on, Jeannette worked at New England Telephone Company. After raising her family, she worked in the rectory of the former St. Francis of Assisi Church. She also cared for and helped raise every one of her grandchildren, who lovingly called her, “Grammie”.
Jeannette was a communicant of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church and the former St. Francis of Assisi Church where she was a Eucharistic Minister and a member of its Rosary Society. She was a member of Court Margaret Catholic Daughters of the Americas, the McCann Booster Club and PTA and was a Cub Scout and Boy Scout leader.
She was the widow of Arthur William Brulé, who died on July 22, 2013. They were married on May 3, 1952. Survivors include four daughters, Debra (Rick) Bua and Doreen (John) Descoteau, both of Clarksburg; Donna Brulé Denning of North Adams and Heidi (David) Lennon of Adams and five sons, Michael (Linda) Brulé of Newburyport, MA; William (Allison) Brulé of Westfield, MA; Thomas (Julie) Brulé and Robert (Karen) Brulé, both of Florida, MA and Kurt (Cindy) Brulé of Clarksburg. She also leaves 18 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great, Great Grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Barbara Gleason and Beverly Tatro and her brother, Francis J. LaBombard Jr.
FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Jeannette Brulé will be celebrated Saturday January 10, 2026 at 11:00 AM at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Burial will be at a later date in Southview cemetery. Calling hours at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERAL WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA will be Friday January 9th from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Memorial donations may be made to St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church or the Alzheimer’s Association in care of the funeral home.
