Beverly D. Troop, 89

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. —  Beverly (Dietrich) Troop, 89, of North Adams, MA died Thursday, December 11, 2025 at North Adams Commons.



She was born in Springfield MA on April 6, 1936, a daughter of Henry and Doris (Fournier) Dietrich. She attended Springfield schools and graduated from Springfield Technical High School.



Beverly was primarily a homemaker and was devoted to her family. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of North Adams where she was a member of the Women’s Fellowship. Beverly enjoyed spending time with her family and was a 50-year member of the Just For Fun Bowling League.



She was the widow of John E. Troop who died on June 16, 2011. They were married on March 10, 1956.



She will be dearly missed by three loving children, John E. "Jack" Troop Jr. and his wife, Wende of Aiken, SC; Diane Golrick of Milton, DE; and Laurie Boudreau and her husband, Don, of Clarksburg, MA. She also leaves seven grandchildren including Corey (Nicole) Troop, Kayleigh (Jay) MacLean, Matthew Troop, Kyle (Megan) Golrick, Carolyn (Mason) Bressler, Brian Boudreau (Erika Quackenbush) and Holly Boudreau; and eight great-grandchildren, Elliot Troop, Rowan Troop, Finnian MacLean, Maddox MacLean, Vayda MacLean, Jameson Bressler, Maggie Bressler, and Kieran Golrick; and nieces and nephews. Her two brothers, Wayne Dietrich and H. Gary Dietrich are deceased.



  FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral Services for Beverly Troop will be Tuesday December 16, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Congregational Church of North Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, WEST CHAPELS 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA are Tuesday morning from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested for the First Congregational Church of North Adams or HospiceCare of the Berkshires in care of the funeral home.
