Oh Pat: Diane and I just learned of Bob's passing. So sorry. Recall the days playing basketball in the summers at Greylock outside court, sharing lawn cutting duties, playing hoops for Holy Family, softball for Turn Hall. I admired Bob for his dedication to teach and coach in the area he grew up. Our condolences go out to you, Jimmie, John and entire family.

Bob was an impressive man. He navigated personal loss with great dignity. In this manner his teaching extended beyond the athletic fields and classrooms. Even tempered and fun to be around, he was not easy to coach against! A real competitor on the field but a true gentleman. An example for all. Rest in peace, man of great good humor and faith.
