Gary "Zac" Pasierbiak, 62

September 30, 2025

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. —  Gary Robert “Zac” Pasierbiak, 62 of North Adams, MA died on Tuesday September 30, 2025 at Berkshire Medical Center following a brief illness.



He was born in North Adams, MA on January 2, 1963, a son of the late Stanley Francis Pasierbiak and Dorothy Mary (Tourjee) Pasierbiak. He graduated from Drury High School and attended Berkshire Community College.



Zac was last employed by O’Reilly’s Auto Parts Store in North Adams where he had worked for the past five years. He enjoyed golfing, rafting, tubing, and fishing and especially enjoyed spending time with his many loyal friends. Zac was an avid fan of the New York Yankees baseball team and the Pittsburgh Steelers football team. Zac was extremely proud of his late father’s accomplishments as a baseball pitcher at Drury High School and the St. Louis Cardinals farm system.



Survivors include his sister, Gail Grant of Adams, MA and his brother, Carl S. Pasierbiak and his wife, Charlene of Plymouth, MA. He also leaves his niece, Jill Armstrong and her husband, Edward of Adams, MA and his nephew, David Grant of Adams, MA.



FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral for Gary “Zac” Pasierbiak will be Thursday October 9, 2025 at 6:00 PM at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS CENTRAL CHAPEL, 74 Marshall St. North Adams, MA. Burial will be private. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Thursday October 9 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association in care of the funeral home. To add to the Book of Memories, please visit www.flynndagnolifuneralhomes.com

Although sad to see his passing my first instinct was to smile because that’s exactly the thing I did whenever I ran into him. One of the funniest people I ever had the pleasure of hanging out with in my younger days.
