Richard Joseph LaCosse Jr, 59

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. —  Richard Joseph LaCosse Jr, 59, of North Adams, MA, died Friday July 25, 2025 at North Adams Regional Hospital. He was born in Pittsfield, MA on August 28, 1965, a son of Richard Joseph LaCosse Sr and the late Annora L. (Ferry) Kingston.



Richard attended Pittsfield High School and was a mechanic for many years at Midas. In his free time, he enjoyed, camping, fishing and target shooting with his family. He was a member of North Adams Elks Club



Richard leaves behind his wife Jacqueline (Sweeney)  LaCosse , children Richard LaCosse, Matthew Joseph LaCosse (Alanna), Jessica LaCosse Case(Laryn), Katelynn LaCosse, and 8 grandchildren. He also leaves his father Richard Joseph LaCosse Sr (Joan), siblings Terry Warner, Debra Grandbois, Lisa LaCosse, twin brother Edward LaCosse, Darren Civello, Kenneth LaCosse and Craig LaCosse.  Richard is predeceased by his sisters Jamie Hartwig and Eileen Fiore



FUNERAL NOTICE: Services for Richard LaCosse will take place on Friday, August 1, 2025 at 1:00 PM.  Calling hours will take place at Flynn & Dagnoli- WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St, North Adams, MA 01247 from 11-1 PM. Burial will take place in the family plot in Southview Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in his memory through the Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home, North Adams, MA.
