Shirley Buckley, 86

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. —  Shirley (Wild) Buckley, 86 of North Adams died peacefully in her home, on June 2, 2025.



She was born in Lees, Oldham England November 26, 1938 to the late Frank and Hilda (Cooper) Wild. She attended schools in England and married her husband Kenneth Buckley on August 8, 1959. With their family they moved to the United States in 1978.



Prior to retirement, she was last employed at the North Adams Price Chopper in the bakery. Those that knew her will always remember her charismatic personality that always shined.



She loved to do home projects and crafts and had a love for animals.



Shirley leaves behind her husband Kenneth; son Ashley M. Buckley; daughter Kay E. Cahoon and her husband Michael; grandsons Michael Carbonaro and Michael Cahoon Jr.; many nieces and nephews She was predeceased by her brothers, Barri, Stuart and Stephen.



Shirley’s family would like to thank Hospice Care of the Berkshires for their exceptional care.



FUNERAL NOTICE: Calling hours for Shirley Buckley will be Thursday June 12, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA. Burial will be private. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Care in the Berkshires, 877 South St. Suite #1W Pittsfield, MA 01201. Ken and family, So sorry to hear of Shirley's passing. She was such a wonderful lady who always had a smile on her face. Love working with her at Price Chopper but also helping plan your vacations. May she rest in peace.
