NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Robert Richard Sunn, 82, of North Adams, MA, died Sunday May 4, 2025 at home. He was born in North Adams on October 1, 1942 a son of George T. and Mary Hazel (Williams) Sunn.
Robert attended local schools. After school he was employed as a master mechanic for many years at Windsor Motors, Shapiro Chevrolet, K & M Toyota, and Bedard Brothers up until his retirement. He also worked for the City of North Adams and UPS. Robert was a member of the Massachusetts National Guard. Robert loved fishing, spending time with family and friends, life member of the Adams Mountain Club, and member of the Greylock Community Club.
Robert leaves behind his sons Thomas Sunn and Timothy Sunn (Lisa) of North Adams, daughter Kathy Mrozek (Ken) of Byron, IL, 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grand children, brother Michael Sunn, sister Charlotte Bearse, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Nancy Daniels who died in 2003.
FUNERAL NOTICE: Graveside services for Robert Sunn will take place at Southview Cemetery in the family plot at a later date. Calling hours will take place May 9, 2025 from 4-7 PM at Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Homes- West Chapels, 521 West Main Street, North Adams, MA 01247.
