Recollections & Sympathy For the Family

Aunt Anne was a gracious hostess. At one time we visited with our youngest daughter, who has a disability that resulted in a broken bedroom window. Skip and Anne calmly took it in stride. On the same trip, I realized I had failed to pack Sunday clothing. Anne hustled me off to a thrift store in Adams where I found two skirts that are still in my wardrobe. Earlier, while I was studying in Paris, her parents graciously hosted me in Scotland. I've always loved to hear that brogue!

We lower our flags to someone we had the pleasure to have known for many years. We always felt that she was related as she and skip would always be there whenever
my sister Marie who was her close friend had a gathering at her home. They both brought joy to us all. She made the world a better place and we will all miss her. RIP.

Anne was my patient and the sweetest woman I have ever met. She surely loved her family and Scotland. I will miss seeing her.
