NORTH ADAMS, Mass. —  

David Alan Shade, 51, of North Adams, MA, died Monday February 3, 2025 at Berkshire Medical Center after a short illness.

He was born in North Adams on February 15, 1973 a son of Linda (Hill) Frost and the late David W. Shade. He attended Drury High School and then went on to obtained his GED. David was the owner and operator of a computer repair business for many years. He was an accomplished musician, guitarist, and pianist.

David leaves behind his wife, Colleen Ann (Bryant) Shade of North Adams, whom he married on November 10, 2001, children David Shade Jr, Brandy Shade, Mathew Christiana, Kenny Shade, Brianna Shade, Ethan Shade, and grandson Kenny Shade. He also leaves his mother Linda Frost, siblings Kenneth Shade, Dennis Shade, Lynn Green, Jennifer Shade, and many nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Calling hours for David Shade will take place Tuesday February 11, 2025, from 4-6 PM at Flynn & Dagnoli West Chapels, 521 West Main St, North Adams, MA 01247. Burial will take place in Eastlawn Cemetery in the family plot at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home in his memory.
