He just said "hi" to me and asked how I was doing. I got my hair cut there at his shop previously and said that I got 'crowned'. He didn't not take me because I am female. I loved our conversations while I was there. It is North Adams loss.

My stomach flipped when I drove by Klipper Kings and saw the bouquets at the doorstep. Chris was a pillar of the community. I am a therapist by trade and saw that Chris was an truly. exceptional counselor. If I waited in the shop, I'd watch him do his work on other customers- stylistically and emotionally- and would fill with respect for his talents. Graceful, kind, empathetic, generous, committed to helping others... and proud of his children... what an amazing man.

My condolences to Chris's family. I've known Chris for years, he was a gentle soul who I would always see him acknowledge anyone who would come in contact with, that's the kind of guy he was, you would always see him waving to people at the shop window while they were waiting in traffic,I am glad to have met Chris and certainly was a pleasure knowing him. Rest in peace Bigz!
