NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Alison Marie Moulton Felix, 22, died on Monday, Dec. 16, 2024, in Pompano Beach, Fla., as a result of an automobile accident.
Alison was born in North Adams on July 25, 2002, a daughter of Maria Moulton and Michael Felix.
Alison attended St. Stanislaus Kostka School and graduated with High Honors from Drury High School with the class of 2020. While at Drury, Alison was a Pro Merito and Nu Sigma honor society student, student ambassador, student council member, service-learning member, and most importantly, a dedicated member to her class, community and athletic teams. Alison was captain of the track, basketball and soccer teams, and played AAU for Berkshire Mountaineers Basketball for six years. Alison received extensive scholarships and awards at her high school graduation, including the Frank Zoltek Memorial Scholarship, the Adams Outdoorsman for Youth Scholarship, the Walter L. Case Memorial Scholarship, the Robert E. Armitage Memorial Scholarship, the Peter Foote Memorial Scholarship, the North Adams Youth Basketball League Scholarship, St. Elizabeth Rosary Society Award, the Ted Ziter Sports Scholarship, Crew of '02: CMD Scholarship, Girls Soccer Booster Club Scholarship and Girls Basketball Booster Club Scholarship.
Alison went on to attend and graduate from University of Connecticut in Storrs with the class of 2024, earning a bachelor of science in sports marketing and management. While at college she was a member of UConn Women's Club basketball team, studied abroad in Australia during the fall semester and in Italy during the spring semester of her junior year.
Alison was a communicant of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish and active in the Meals Ministry program.
Alison leaves her mother, Maria Moulton, and Gary Bellows of Stamford Vt.; her sister, Jacinta Felix of Stamford; Gary's children, Sam and Wyatt Bellows, and her father, Michael Felix of Pittsfield. She also leaves her maternal grandmother, Carolyn Cicchetti Moulton and her aunts and uncles including, Bonny Moulton, Mary Ann Meaney (John), Peter Moulton, John Moulton (Jenny), Theresa Denault (Michael), Mark Moulton (Cathy), Christopher Moulton (Kerry), Roxanna Moulton (James), Matthew Moulton (Marta), Al Felix Jr. and Lisa Felix and many, many cousins.
Alison was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Deacon Robert R. Moulton Sr., her uncle Robert R. Moulton Jr., and paternal grandparents Allan Felix Sr. and Sally Harrington.
FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Alison Felix will be celebrated on Monday, Dec. 23, 2024, at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish.
