Brenda Lee Girard, 58, of North Adams, MA, died Thursday March 21,2024 at home surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born in North Adams on April 21, 1965 to Francis George Girard Jr. and Dolores L. “Dee” (Davis) Girard.
Brenda attended North Adams schools. For work, she was a personal health care provider, helping people all throughout the area. On her free time, she enjoyed riding her Harley, making dream catchers as a spiritual Native American, and spending time with her family and friends.
Brenda leaves behind her mother, Dolores Girard, son Travis Michael Schneider, sisters Carol Lemaire (Robert), Amy Wood, and Pam Sisto, brothers Francis Girard III, Donald Girard (Jennifer), Joseph Girard (Sharon), Edward Girard (Kim), Michael Girard (Danielle), and David Girard. She also leaves grandchildren Aleigha Marie Bush, Alexis Faith Girard, Travis M. Schneider Jr, Jacob Schneider, Shaylynn Schneider, and great grandchild Tara. Brenda is predeceased by her father Francis Girard and daughter Tara Lynne Bush. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
FUNERAL NOTICE: Services for Brenda will take place on Thursday March 28, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church in North Adams. Calling hours will be from 10-11 at First Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in her memory to PopCares- PO Box 482, Williamstown, MA 01267.

To Joe, Sharon, and the rest of the family: I am so sorry for the loss of Brenda. I knew her since we were in Middle School (6th grade) and she stood up for me when others were mean. We weren't close but, I'm glad we could be friends even if we didn't hang together. She was a good one. May she rest easy now. My sympathies go out to you all.

| I had a special friendship with Brenda. we stayed close for years to Encourage each other though life. before Brenda got sick I took her to a Jimmy Buffet Concert in 2022. she counted on me to take her to the Doctors in Pittsfield and we enjoyed lunch and talked before her Surgery.
