Timothy Albert Haun, 79

In loving memory of Timothy Albert Haun, 79, of Hickory, North Carolina, formerly of Massachusetts and Florida. Timothy peacefully passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory.



Timothy was born on June 26, 1944, in Greenfield, Massachusetts. He was the son of the late Genevieve Halberg and Harold Haun. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anne Tassone Haun who were married on May 7th, 1981. As well as his daughter Jennifer Miller Davis.



Having served in the U.S. Army, Timothy retired in 2002 after 30 years as a dedicated plumber and pipefitter at Berkshire Medical Center. Timothy grew up in Massachusetts and Vermont before settling in Florida, where he resided for twenty years. He loved the Florida heat and found joy working in his yard.Timothy was a long-time member of St. John's Episcopal Church in North Adams, Massachusetts, which is now known as All Saints Episcopal Church.



Timothy is survived by his daughters, Melissa McCauley (Chuck) of Hickory, North Carolina, and Jennifer Brames of North Adams, Massachusetts and his step son, Jeffery Bleu of Gilbert, Arizona; grandchildren: Christopher McCauley (Corie), Ashley Reo (Alex),Timothy and Kimberly Brames, and Austin, Evan andLucas Bleu; great-grandchildren: Sean Patrick McCauley, Breck and Croy Reo; two sisters: Terry Mattimore (David) of Stamford, Vermont, and Susan Deraway of West Hawley, Massachusetts, along with several nieces and nephews.



At this time, no services will be held to honor Timothy's life and legacy.

The Haun family is being served by Bass-Smith Funeral Home in Hickory, North Carolina.

My condolences to Tim's family. Tim helped me a lot on a plumbing job once. I'll always remember his kindness. He was a great guy.
