NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Joan Beatrice Aragose, 76, of 21 River St. died Monday, Nov. 27, 2000, at North Adams Regional Hospital, where she was admitted on Nov. 25.
Born in North Adams on March 24, 1924, a daughter of Frank and Concetta "Tina" Tomaselli Aragose, she moved to Caserta, Italy, as a child with her family and was educated in Italy. She returned to North Adams with her family in 1947.
Miss Aragose was employed in the Tantalum Division of the former Sprague Electric Co. for 38 years, until her retirement in 1986.
She was a longtime communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Church. She was a member of the Sprague Electric Quarter Century and Retirees clubs, and of the Jollee Circle Club.
She leaves three sisters, Rita M. Aragose, with whom she made her home, Josephine Ciavarella of North Adams and Lidyia Favuzza of Caserta, and nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Her brothers Silvio Aragose died Oct. 26, 1973, and Rodolfo Aragose died in infancy.
