NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Darlene Mary Mancini, 68 of North Adams, MA died Wednesday November 15, 2023 at Berkshire Medical Center.
She was born in North Adams, MA on January 2, 1955, a daughter of John Lucien and Francesca Mildred (Paolucci) Mancini. She graduated from the former St. Joseph’s High School.
Darlene worked as a certified nursing assistant at several local nursing homes for many years until her retirement. She also operated her own business, “Adventureland Video Store” for a few years. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Darlene loved animals
Survivors include two brothers, Bruce Mancini of Dalton, MA and Craig Mancini of North Adams, MA and nieces, nephews and several cousins including Gabriella Bond, Dolores Bianco and Faith Trottier. She was predeceased by two brothers, Robert “Tiny” Mancini and John B. Mancini.
FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Darlene Mancini will be celebrated on Monday November 27, 2023 at 11:00 AM at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Memorial donations may be made to the Berkshire Humane Society in care of FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS CENTRAL CHAPEL, 74 Marshall St. North Adams, MA 01247.
