Condolences to Bill's family. We went to Haskins, Drury, and North Adams State College at the same time. And we'd walk up steep Walnut Street together. He was a delightful guy with a terrific light up type of smile. Rest in peace.

Dear Eleanor and family, I just heard the sad news of Bill's passing from my sister Kathy. What a time we had as young children growing up together on Walnut St!!! Little did we know how truly fun and carefree our lives were back then as we bounced from one adventure to another. It seemed like the only times that we weren't outdoors was during summer thunderstorms. (cause our parents wouldn't let us)!! Wintertime was all about building bigger ski jumps, bigger snow forts & having bigger snowball fights. Summertime was simply an evolving daily flow of adventures up and down the neighborhood. I couldn't have had a better childhood friend than Billy Morris. He was kind, loyal, and as funny as could be. (Sorry about the time that we lit your backyard on fire with the melted green army soldiers). We really didn't think that one through before we started. God bless your family in this time of loss and God bless Billy for all he gave to others during his time here on Earth.

My heart and prayers go out to the Morris family, I’m so sorry to hear of Bill’s passing, I’m in disbelief. I was so close to the Morris family when they lived on Fredrick Street during our young years. I was always hanging around with Bob and thought the world of all of them, so many great memories. I remember Bill was an avid skier and had his own ski shop in the house. I drove Bill to Mount Snow a few times when he asked, he was such a great guy and was quite the entrepreneur
Again, my thoughts and prayers are with the Morris family.

Gayle, so sorry for the loss of your husband. Sending my condolences to you and your family. You may not remember me, I met Billy and worked with him at Taconic Trails on the ski school, only for a few short years. These were the few but great times we worked and skied together. I will remember Billy as a great man that he was, to both his family and friends.
