Lori Ann Vadnais, 60

September 29, 2022

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. —  Lori Ann Vadnais, 60, of Conyers, Ga., died on thursday, Sept. 29, 2022.



She was born in North Adams on April 15, 1962, the daughter of Cyrilla "Sis" Fantauzzi and the late Edmond "Red" Vadnais.



Lori graduated from Seminole Community High School in Sanford, Fla., in 1980. A gifted artist, having graduated from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, she created artwork for the movies "Days of Thunder," "Back to the Future" and music CD covers. Lori also worked for Disney, MGM and had owned her own business in the Florida Keys that ended with Hurricane Irene in 1999. Then freelancing, she began Vadenay Design LLC in Pensacola, Fla., where she created a variety of artistic projects.



Survivors include her mother, Cyrilla "Sis" Fantauzzi (Jack) of Conyers; her siblings, Mark Vadnais (Cynthia), Peter Vadnais (Dawn), and Cynthia Gross, all of North Adams, and Beverly Vadnais (Warren Delmolino) of North Adams and Umatilla, Fla., along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews.



Lori was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Eugene and Cyrilla Chaperon, and paternal grandparents, Valmore and Olive Vadnais.



FUNERAL NOTICE: Cremation Care of Georgia is in charge of arrangements. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date followed by burial in Southview Cemetery in North Adams.

I am so sad to hear of Lori's passing. Lori and I were great friends at Clarksburg elementary School before she moved to Florida. The two of us had a lot of fun and mischief together. I had always hope to see Lori again. Wishing peace to her family.
