Beatrice Thibert, 93, of 475 Union St. died yesterday at Williamstown Commons, where she had resided since December.
Born in Clarksburg on Nov. 5, 1908, daughter of Fabian and Caroline Castanguay Thouin, she was educated there.
Primarily a homemaker, she was employed by the former Wall Streeter Shoe Co. for seven years until it ceased operations.
Mrs. Thibert was a lifelong communicant of Notre Dame Church.
Her husband, Ernest J. Thibert, whom she married July 9, 1928, in Notre Dame Church, died Dec. 21, 1979.
She leaves two daughters, Eleanor Dobbert and Linda Hartman, both of North Adams; a sister, Flora Burnett of Treasure Island, Fla.; six grandchildren, four stepgrandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by three sisters Lena Marceau, Eve Belanger and Martha Prevey, and a brother, Archie Thouin.
The funeral will be Tuesday at 8:15 at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, Central Chapel, 74 Marshall St., followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at Notre Dame Church. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Monday from 5 to 8.
