NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Marion Sorel, 82, of Spring Park, 45 Spring St., died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2002, at home.
Born in North Adams on April 6, 1919, daughter of Henry Sorel and Marie LaBonte Sorel St. Pierre, she was educated in local schools, including the former Notre Dame School.
Miss Sorel was employed in the housekeeping department of North Adams Regional Hospital and later at St. Joseph's Court until her retirement.
She was a lifelong communicant of Notre Dame Church.
She leaves a sister, Mary O'Leary of Clarksburg.
FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Miss Sorel will be Saturday, Feb. 2, at 9 in Notre Dame du Sacre Coeur Church, East Main Street. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested for a charity of the donor's choice through Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, MA 01247, which is in charge of arrangements.
