Christine Maria St John, 73 years young of North Adams, MA passed away on April 4, 2022 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield MA after a brief illness.



Born in North Adams MA on November 24, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Norman C. and Ruth T (Miller) St John.



She was educated in North Adams schools. Johnson school and the former Saint Joseph High School graduating in 1969.



Christine worked former Adams Nursing home in Williamstown MA. Then she worked at North Adams Regional Hospital 1969 until retiring in December 2008.



She was involved in Northern Berkshire Neighbors since 1994 and an organizer of her own neighborhood called “Amity Square” which included Williams, School, Cady and North Street.



Christine is survived by Nancy LaCasse Anderson (Craig), Rande Anderson (Heidi) and Randall Duprea. In addition to many close friends which she treasured. Always the photographer and asking for smiles.



A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday April 12, 2022 at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Church in North Adams, MA. Burial will follow in the family plot in Southview Cemetery. To add to the Book of Memories, please visit flynndagnolifuneralhomes.com.

reconnected at our 50th high St. Joe reunion, her knowledge of North Adams history was vast and she loved sharing it. Spent time with her last October when I was in the Berkshires, we drove around and caught up with each other and traveled around talking, laughing and reminiscing. I met Chris many years ago when I worked at CVS, Always a pleasure talking to her, very outgoing and upbeat, Chris would always come into o Papa Gino's at least once or twice a week, I am glad to have know Chris and will miss her dearly, a wonderful lady she was.
