NORTH ADAMS, Mass. —  Elizabeth "Betty" Scarpitto, 97 of North Adams, MA passed away on Monday February 28, 2022 at Berkshire Medical Center.

She was born in North Adams, MA on December 11, 1924, the youngest daughter of Anthony and Suzanna (Lepak) Bogusz. Betty worked at Sprague Electric Co. and also as a teacher's aide. She was the widow of John Scarpitto who died in 1981. They were married in 1966. She is survived by one sister, many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Three brothers and four sisters are deceased.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Betty Scarpitto will be celebrated on Saturday April 23, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Burial will follow at Southview cemetery. There are no calling hours.
