NORTH ADAMS, Mass. —
Mrs. Olive May (Hall) Anderson, 95, of North Adams, died on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at Williamstown Commons.
She was born in Ramsey, England on January 17, 1927, a daughter of the late John and Lily Hall. She attended schools in England, before going to work on an Air Force Base during World War II.
Mrs. Anderson last worked for the former Novtex in North Adams until her retirement. Earlier she had worked for the former CB Sports and the Hoosac Cotton Mills.
Olive was a member of Waubeeka Golf Links in Williamstown, where she won Ladies Club Champion. She also loved to bowl, read, color, knit and listen to country music. She was an avid New England Patriots fan.
Her husband, Lawrence E. Anderson in deceased.
She is survived by her three sons, Lawrence Anderson of North Adams, Robert Anderson and his wife Phyllis of Cheshire and Donald Anderson and his wife Pamela of Cheshire; one brother Jack Hall of England; six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, two great great grandchidlren and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by six siblings, Roland, John, Ken, Lily, Jean and Katherine.
Funeral services and burial will be private for the family.
