Toryn Lane, 54

December 22, 2021

Toryn Maxwell Lane, 54 of Ware, MA. and formerly of North Adams, MA. died suddenly at New Haven Hospital in New Haven CT. He was born in North Adams on June 8, 1967 a son of Gordon Lane and Donna (Slaughter) Degnan. Toryn was a graduate of Drury High School and was a decorated veteran of the United States Marine Corp. He was employed as a truck driver for the J.P. Noonan Transportation Co. for several years.



Toryn enjoyed playing and watching hockey and loved riding his Ducati motorcycle.



Survivors include his mother and father Donna Degnan and Gordon Lane, son Brandon Maxwell Lane and his granddaughter Giavanna Rose Lane. He is also survived by sisters Karen Drummond, Meribah Lane, Dawn Bromley and brothers Walker Lane and Darin Lane. He was predeceased by his stepmother Rosemarie Gelinas who raised him.



Calling hours to celebrate the Life of Toryn Lane will take place Thursday January 6, 2022 at the Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home, WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA. from 5-7 p.m. To add to the Book of Memories, please visit www.flynndagnolifuneralhomes.com.

So sorry to hear of Tory's passing. I had the pleasure, and I do mean pleasure, of playing hockey on teams with his dad Gordy, brothers Walker and Darin, and his son Brandon. It was always a plus to have a Lane on your team. Best wishes to all in the family in coping with his loss.

It is so sad to hear of the passing Tory. He was such a great personal friend and was an important part of our lives for a short time. We remember him as being always thoughtful, caring, and always in a good mood regardless of the situation. My deepest condolences the the family of Toryn Lane. I vividly remember him when he and his siblings attended Monument Square Day. Care Center. Periodically we would into each other in the community and he said that he remembered me and Eloise who were his teachers at the time.
