My deepest condolences and love to you, Sandy, and to John and all the family. I, too, recall the years at the barn being a small beneficiary of the special loving energy Samantha exuded to the horses and all of us there. May her lovingkindness surround you and bring you healing.

Samantha was a student in my Fourth grade class at Brayton. She was all personality and a great student. We had a love of horses in common. I feel so very bad for the entire family.

I have memories of lovely Samantha going back to when she was a little girl. The thing that I will always remember most are her beautiful eyes, sometimes pale blue, sometimes turquoise, big, expressive and sparkling. She had a warm, loving heart, and was devoted to her family, friends and pets. She knew others felt that way too and I recall her sending me pictures of my horses when she helped care for them when I was away . She knew I was missing them and wanted to put my mind at ease. Not only did she care for the horses, but for their owner, too. That is the kind of person she was and she will be missed very much. XO

I remember watching Samantha at our barn being with her horse William, cleaning his stall, grooming him, giving him a treat, riding him. There was clearly love and devotion between them, one of the strongest ways our lives are blessed.
