Mark David Wright, 65 of North Adams passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at his home.

was born in North Adams, MA on September 7, 1955, a son of Gertrude (Dupre) Wright and the late Russell H. Wright. Mark was a graduate of McCann Technical High School and received an Associate’s Degree from Mildred Elley College.

was a decorated Vietnam veteran of the U.S Navy, stationed in Norfolk, VA. was a communicant of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church.

Mark was employed by Butler Wholesale as a truck driver. He was also previously employed by Unistress Corporation as a laborer.

is survived by his mother Gertrude Wright; sons- Terry Wright and Mark Wright, II both of North Adams. He leaves two sisters, Sharon Lindner (Edward) of Williamstown, and Cynthia Haggart of Alaska and his brother Russell Wright (Anne Marie) of Ocala, FL. also is survived by four grandchildren. He was predeceased by his father Russell, his son, Michael McGovern and his brother Allan Wright.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Graveside Services with military honors will take place at the family plot in Southview Cemetery, North Adams, MA. on Wednesday July 14, 2021 at 1:00 PM. The Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home, CENTRAL CHAPELS, 74 Marshall St. North Adams, MA. are in charge of arrangements.
