NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Judith A. Martin, 69, of North Adams, died Monday, January 4, 2021, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield. She was born in North Adams on April 30, 1951, one of 18 children of the late Francis M. and Alma M. (LaBonte) Martin, and attended North Adams schools, including Drury High School. She is survived by three sons, Robert Whitney, Jr. and his wife, Sandra, of Adams; David Whitney, Sr. and his fiancé, Doreen Bunn, of North Adams, and Christopher Whitney, of North Adams; 5 sisters, 7 brothers, 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, her surrogate, Doreen Bunn, her caregivers, Angela Moorhead and Julie Bryan, as well as many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Funeral services and burial will be private. There are no calling hours. The PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, Adams, is in charge of arrangements.
